Tokisada and Juzo - two Extends
Extends are humans with physical function extensions developed by Beruhren Corporation. The physical functions can vary from arms and legs to eyes, spines and other body parts. Originally the extensions were developed to strengthen soldiers during the war. Each extend has a sub-brain to support all metahuman functionality to reduce the strain on the human brain. With it, the Extends can move extensions that follow certain programmed movements without giving complicated commands.
Extends that have weapon extensions are considered Over-Extend and their existence is illegal after the war. They need license from the EMS in order to continue living a normal life.
